Conference Cancellation Policies

CASE Regions and Districts follow different cancellation policies. Please be sure to refer to the correct section below for the applicable policy.

  • All cancellations must be submitted by in writing. Please submit a ticket and provide the registrants full name, institution and order/invoice number if possible. 
  • Name changes from the same institution for a registration (sending a replacement) may be made at any time and without a fee. Advance notice is appreciated.
  • One registration is for one person. Multiple attendees may not share and swap one badge.
  • Unfortunately, CASE is unable to refund due to inclement weather, injury, illness, or transportation issues.
  • Occasionally conferences fill to capacity before the registration deadline date, so we encourage you to register early. Registration is not guaranteed/confirmed until payment is received in full.
  • CASE reserves the right to cancel any program.
  • CASE is not responsible for any cancellation or change fees assessed by airlines, hotels, or travel agents. CASE advises that you do not book your travel arrangements until you have received your registration confirmation.

Please contact the CASE Member Support Center by submitting a ticket or calling your regional CASE office if you have any questions regarding policy specifics or which policy applies to your registration. 

CASE Conferences in North America

If CASE receives your cancellation by 5:00pm Eastern Time:

  • Three or more weeks prior to the start of the event: CASE will offer a credit of equal value to attend another CASE conference or refund the registration.
  • Between two and three weeks prior to the start of the event: CASE will offer a credit of equal value to attend another CASE conference, or refund the registration minus a 10 percent cancellation fee.
  • Less than two weeks prior to the start of the event: CASE will offer a credit of equal value to attend another CASE conference but no refunds allowed.
  • No-shows will not be refunded conference fees.

CASE District Annual Conferences & Workshops

Each District maintains their own cancellation policy, per event. Please visit your individual District website for the specific cancellation policy for the event you have registered for. Please submit a ticket to the CASE Member Support Center to cancel your registration and/or inquire about the possibility of a partial refund. Please provide the registrants name, institution and order/invoice number when submitting your ticket.

CASE Europe Conferences

For CASE Europe one day events, if CASE receives your cancellation:

  • At least two months before the event start date, you will receive a full refund.
  • Between two months - two weeks before the event start date, you will be refunded your registration fee less a 20% processing fee.
  • Less than two weeks before the event start date, you will not receive a refund.
  • "No-shows" will not receive a refund

For CASE Europe Institutes and Conferences (including the CASE Europe Annual Conference, Spring Institute in Educational Fundraising, Strategic Marketing Institute, Alumni Relations Institute and 2-day events) if CASE receives your cancellation:

  • At least two months before the conference start date, you will receive a full refund.
  • Between two months - three weeks before the conference start date, you will be refunded your registration fee less a 20% processing fee.
  • Less than three weeks before the conference start date, you will not receive a refund.
  • "No-shows" will not receive a refund.

CASE Asia-Pacific Conferences

If CASE receives your cancellation:

  • At least three weeks before the conference start date - You will receive a full refund.
  • One to two weeks before the conference start date - You will be refunded your registration fee less a $60 USD equivalent processing fee
  • Less than one week before the conference start date - You will not receive a refund.
  • "No-shows" - You will not receive a refund.
